Our third year in a row to visit Day's Away house, and it is always delightful. Not as much water time this weekend due to heavy rains, but we enjoyed sitting on the huge back porch watching and listening to the rain. And we payed a visit to Toucan Jim's for some cold beer and burgers. Another fun weekend!

It was a great time to get together with our kids and grandkids. We old folk felt like we were 15 again. We did it all. Fished, floating dock, water slide, swing... Bbqed and late night camp fire chit chatting about old times and times to come.

A great vacation get-away with everything we needed in one spot : a fire pit, rope swing, canoe, floating dock, and.....ducks! We’ll definitely be back again soon.

The house was just as shown. Well appointed, clean, comfy beds, plenty of room. AT&T cell service was not available but that kept the kids off their phones. 😊 We never turned on the TV because there was so much to do outside and the weather was perfect! Thank you, Becky and Johnny! We hope to return next year.

My girlfriends and I have stayed here for 2 years in a row and plan to keep it going for as long as possible. The 8 of us agree that this is definitely the best rental house on the river. Even the water flows better in this spot. The house is always clean and there’s room for all of us. The kitchen has everything needed, we like to cook haha. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing river weekend, just not on our weekend :)
